The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
